Uma Thurman & Stunt Double Zoe Bell – Kill Bill
A significant highlight in Uma Thurman’s acting career was her superb performance as the lead in the film, Kill Bill. Her character did a lot of fighting, but she wasn’t always the one holding the sword. She had a stunt double named Zoe Bell.
Thurman wasn’t the first big actress she doubled for because she also stood in for Lucy Lawless in the series Xena: Warrior Princess and Cate Blanchett in Thor: Ragnarok. Director Quentin Tarantino often gave Bell acting roles as well, and she’s best known for portraying herself in Death Proof. She was Tarantino’s stunt coordinator for his film, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
